Scream Queens 2018, Day 30 Part 1
Brooke Adams

October 10, 2018 by Avery Faeth

Devils' Night is upon us, and Brooke Adams is our first lady to celebrate! Brooke made her mark as spirited, sensitive Elizabeth Driscoll opposite Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, Veronica Cartwright, and Leonard Nimoy in arguably one of the greatest remakes of all time, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (Philip Kaufman, 1978). She struck a horror homerun as Sarah Bracknell in the adaptation of Stephen King's story "The Dead Zone" (David Cronenberg, 1983). She contends with otherworldly horror as would-be mother Virginia Marshall in "The Unborn" (Rodman Flender, 1991). Blink and you'll miss her in "The Stuff" (Larry Cohen, 1985), when she cameos in one of the product commercials. But her humble beginnings were as Rose in "Shock Waves" (Ken Wiederhorn, 1977), an underground Nazi zombie thriller.
