Scream Queens 2018, Day 29 Part 1: Ingrid Pitt
Let's start today with the smoldering Ingrid Pitt! Ingrid stalked her way onto the horror scene in "The Vampire Lovers" with Peter Cushing (Roy Ward Baker, 1970) in a triple role across generations playing three of the Karnstein vampires, Mircalla, Marcilla, and Carmilla. She plays the titular role of Countess Elisabeth Nádasdy in "Countess Dracula" (Peter Sasdy, 1971). She also starred as Carla in the segment "The Cloak" in the anthology film "The House That Dripped Blood" (Peter Duffell, 1971). And even though she plays a nameless librarian in "The Wicker Man" (Robin Hardy, 1973) her character perfectly conveys the suspicion and superstition of the island.
