Scream Queens 2018, Day 22
If there were ever a world champion screamer it's Shelley Duvall. Shelley famously brought to life the fragile, damaged, yet unerringly optimistic Winifred "Wendy" Torrance in a film that transcends horror and has become a modern cinema classic, "The Shining" (Stanley Kubrick, 1980). Long-standing rumor has it that Kubrick actually tormented Shelley to levels similar to her character to generate a real and palpable fear response. Needless to say it's one of the greatest and most memorable performances in history.
