Bad Santa

For all of you on the naughty list, tonight we're watching "Bad Santa" (Terry Zwigoff, 2003), starring Billy Bob Thornton, Bernie Mac, John Ritter, Lauren Graham, and Cloris Leachman. Con man Willie Stokes has developed a yearly grift with his dwarf cohort Marcus, where they play Santa and an elf for a department store that they then rob on Christmas eve. But a mild-mannered mall manager and an unscrupulous store detective get wise to their game, and Willie takes up shelter with a troubled young boy named Thurman Merman. Is his Christmas spirit any match for Willie's jadedness, or is it true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks? With the help of a sexy bartender and a sandwich-loving grandma, Willie and Thurman may just be able to save Christmas.
