Heading into the new year, we're watching "When Harry Met Sally" (Rob Reiner, 1985) starring Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, Bruno Kirby, and Carrie Fisher. Two college graduates, through mutual friends, take a ride to New York together and rub each other the wrong way. Five years later, they meet again, seemingly well on the paths they had chosen. But another five years throw them both for a loop and they reconnect, recently single and ready to build a friendship. They seem to be the only ones who can't see how right they are for each other, and it takes a series of mistakes, marriages, and missed connections before they realize what's been building between them for years.
