Scream Queens 2018: #31 Eva Green & Charlotte Rampling
Happy Halloween, rabbits! Tonight we're graced with the lady Eva Green. She broke into the underground horror scene as Rebecca in "Womb" (Benedek Filegauf, 2010), a "Black Mirror"-style love story gone wrong. In a lighter turn pairing with Tim Burton, she plays Angelique Bouchard in "Dark Shadows" (2012) and Miss Peregrine in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" (2016). But the horror role she embodies and will be remembered for is Vanessa Ives in the modern cult classic show "Penny Dreadful" (2014-2016).
Another Halloween lady for my rabbits, and this time it's Charlotte Rampling! Charlotte started her horror career in the interconnected anthology film "Asylum" (Roy Ward Baker, 1972) as Barbara in the segment "Lucy Comes to Stay" alongside fellow lady Britt Ekland. She plays Margaret Krusemark, enigmatic ex-lover of a missing con man dealing with the Devil in "Angel Heart" (Alan Parker, 1987) opposite Mickey Rourke and Robert DeNiro.
