Waiting On Wednesday (17)

Waiting on Wednesday is a featured post hosted by Breaking the Spine that discusses upcoming releases that bloggers are excited about.

This week's book I am looking forward to in 2017 is:

Author: Jenny Han
Expected Release Date: April 4th, 2017
Publisher: Simon and Schuster Books for Young Readers

Lara Jean’s letter-writing days aren’t over in this surprise follow-up to the New York Times bestselling To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.

But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.

When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

  1. Whaaaaaaat, check us out! We chose the same book for Waiting on Wednesday this week! *high fives* Well, I guess it is safe to say that I am excited to read this book too? ;) Fantastic choice, Emily!

Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!

    1. Great minds think alike Alyssa! I can't wait for this one! I didn't even realize there WAS going to be a third one until very recently!

  2. This book is going on my tbr list along with the two that preceded it. Thanks for sharing! I have a hard time choosing contemporaries so I rely on my blogging buddies to share their favorites :)

    1. I truly hope you enjoy them when you get a chance to start the series Lauren! I was a little unsure, because even though I read YA sometimes I feel like the younger characters are hard to connect with, but I LOVED Laura Jean and how quirky she is! She's so hard not to like and the series is such a fun read!

  3. This sounds like a fun on Emily. The cover is cute. I so remember senior year, so many eons

    1. Haha Kimba that's too funny! i was a senior only 5 years ago, but it feels like ages! I wish i was that young again and had no worries except for the latest drama at school!
