Top Ten Tuesday (20)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
Top Ten Favorite Fantasy Books/Series
Since a lot of books that I read tend to be fantasy related (fairies/faeries, witches/wizards, Fae, evil high lords, you name it) I thought I would share ten of my favorite from this genre for this week's freebie. Which ones have you read? AND since these are obviously my favorite books to read, what are some of yours that you really enjoyed? I am ALWAYS looking for recs in this category!
1.  Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas
2. A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J. Maas
3. Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios
-The first one in the series is my favorite!
4. The Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole
5.  Tithe (Modern Faerie Tales #1) by Holly Black
6. Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
-Again, this one was my favorite of the two that are currently out in the series.
7. Truthwitch by Sussan Dennard
8. The Grisha Series by Leigh Bardugo
9. The Splintered Series by A. G. Howard
10. The Inheritance Series by Christopher Paolini

  1. I love ToG and ACOTAR! I've only read the first Grisha book but loved it. I actually didn't enjoy splintered :( I know! It's such a favorite for people, but it was like torture for me lol. Great list!

    1. They are two of my favorite series! Maas has easily become one of my autobuy authors in the past year alone. And BERLS! YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE GRISHA SERIES ASAP! It's SO freaking good (mind my language lol).
I am so bummed you didn't like Splintered, but it's definitely different! I can see how some might not get on with it that well. It kind of reminds me of the Tim Burton movies (the creepyness and what not)
      Thanks for reading my list!

    1. ACOTAR is FANTASTIC! I read the book in almost two sittings. and just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I read book 2 and HOLY COW. A Court of Mist and Fury was even more amazing. This series is a new favorite of mine. I also LOVE Tamlin and Rhys:)
      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Now how did I know you would choose fantasy for this week's TTT? :) I've only read two from your list - Throne of Glass and ACOTAR. I thought ToG was okay/good but I've yet to continue the series. Everyone tells me the books only get better but I haven't decided whether to continue or not. However, I loved ACOTAR - and I'll be reading ACOMAF soon. I really want to read the Arcana Chronicles and I own the first 2 or 3 books. They look so good!
