Top Ten Tuesday (4)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish

I was really excited when I read the topic for this week because it combines two of my favorite things: books and music! Although these ten songs aren't necessarily my top ten favorite songs of all time, they are ten of my favorite/most played songs and ones that I think would make a GREAT book because of the stories their music tells.  If you have time, I urge you to listen to a few of them and pay close attention to the lyrics. I think you'll catch my meaning when I say the lyrics from these songs are essentially a book in itself! I've also included the artist and the name of the album each song is from.

Top Ten Songs That I Wish Were Books
1. No Words by The Script (#3)
2. Paint the Town Green by The Script (No Sound Without Silence)
3. Beautiful Girl by Sara Bareilles (The Blessed Unrest)
4. Love Song by Sara Bareilles (Little Voice)
5. Just a Fool by Christina Aguilera w/Blake Shelton (Lotus)
6. Jammin (Bob Marley-Greatest Hits)
7. Drunk by Ed Sheeran (+)
8. I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy (single)
9. Realize by Colbie Caillat (Coco)
10. MoneyGrabber by Fitz and the Tantrums (Pickin' Up the Pieces)
